What it is ​

Sketchfab is a gallery of user-uploaded 3D models presented in an interactive browser viewer. Its model pages support orbiting, zooming and annotations, so a still thumbnail can be inspected from multiple angles.

When to open it ​

Use the 3D models gallery to study object form, surface treatment, lighting and viewer presentation. During review, the model titled “1321” loaded and could be rotated, showing a pale sculptural form against a warm, softly blurred environment.

Using it with agents ​

The developer documentation lists OAuth, Data, Download, Viewer and oEmbed APIs. Access and capabilities vary by endpoint and account plan. The Viewer API can control an embedded model; downloads require authentication and the model's own licence must be followed.

Watch out for ​

  • Model performance varies with device and scene complexity; one model encountered during review was too heavy to render, while the lighter “1321” example loaded successfully.
  • A model's preview does not grant reuse rights. Check its individual Creative Commons or Sketchfab licence before downloading or adapting it.
  • The viewer, Sketchfab branding and platform material remain proprietary; the platform's terms prohibit scraping and reuse of its content outside permitted routes.
