What it is

ROOM 1707 is a branding and digital studio based in Shanghai. Its portfolio presents client projects alongside short descriptions of the studio's strategy, social media and digital product work.

When to open it

Use it to study typographic studio pages and how a social campaign can be documented as an extended sequence of mobile layouts, photography and campaign marks.

Most useful

  • Home: a huge, tightly set “WE BUILD BRANDS FOR TOMORROW” headline dominates a pale-gray field. The page uses black type, small navigation controls and project imagery as a counterpoint to the spare opening.
  • Bershka case: an oversized wordmark and project summary lead into a long run of social posts, campaign logos, phone layouts and fashion photography. The varied campaign colors sit within the studio's mostly black, white and gray page frame.
  • The case page labels its industry, project type and service before explaining the localization and social strategy, then lets the visual examples carry the rest of the story.

Using it with agents

No public MCP, API, CLI, skill or agent-readable guide surfaced in the reviewed pages. An agent can use the public Work archive and case pages in a browser. The terms reserve the site's content, so describe the visual structure without copying its project images or text.

Watch out for

  • Project imagery belongs to its creators and clients; ROOM 1707's terms prohibit reproducing or redistributing site material.
  • The case page is a social media strategy example, not a general ecommerce interface pattern.
  • Motion was not confirmed during this review; the long sequence is useful for studying changes in image and layout rhythm while scrolling.

Reusable ideas

  • Pair a high-impact project name with a short, readable summary and compact metadata.
  • Give each campaign image room to read, then vary the sequence with phone mockups, wordmarks and photography.
  • Use a neutral portfolio frame to make the client's changing campaign palettes stand out.
