What it is ​

Recent is a curated visual feed with separate galleries for design work, websites, OG images, app screenshots and icons. Its Websites gallery filters examples by industry, while the broader Design feed groups work by discipline. A detail page pairs a large visual capture with its source link and metadata tags. For example, Nothing to Watch shows a dark composition built around a centered 3D poster sphere, with style and interaction tags alongside a link to the live site.

When to open it ​

  • When you want whole-site captures with a route to the original live page, then need to inspect the composition in context.
  • When you want a curated starting point and can browse by discipline or industry before judging individual examples by their tags.
  • When you want to discover third-party design skills separately from visual references.

Most useful ​

  • The Design feed has discipline filters including Web, Interface, Branding, Product, Typography, Motion, Illustration, 3D, Editorial, Print and Packaging. Open a detail page to see its capture, creator/source, category and any style, colour or interaction tags.
  • The Websites gallery filters by industry, such as AI, Agency, Portfolio, SaaS, Ecommerce, Editorial and Personal. Its Nothing to Watch detail is a concrete route from a curated capture to a live site, with 3D, Interactive, Animation, Dark, Transitions and Custom Cursor tags.
  • Separate galleries cover OG images, App Store screenshots and app icons.
  • The Skills directory groups third-party repositories under Interface, Research, Development and Motion. Its install controls point to external skill projects; Recent does not provide a gallery API or its own design skill.

Using it with agents ​

Recent has no MCP, llms.txt or API for its visual galleries. Use the browser: start with the Websites industry filters or the Design discipline filters, open a detail page, inspect its capture and tags, then follow the source link and take a current screenshot of the live site. Ask the agent to name the composition, typography, colour, imagery and motion decisions it can reuse, rather than borrowing the example's content. The Skills directory is a separate index of third-party repositories, not a way to query the gallery; inspect a repository before installing its skill.

Watch out for ​

  • Sponsor placements can appear alongside the Design and Websites feeds, and the Tools page includes partner offers.
  • The skills listed are third-party repositories; check their sources and licences before installing them.
  • Featured work belongs to its creators; no reuse licence is given.

Reusable ideas ​

  • A detail page brings the visual capture, tags and source together, so an agent can explain why a reference fits and continue into the live site.
  • Separate discipline and industry filters help narrow the first pass; the tags on individual examples add a more visual description after selection.
