What it is

Frameset is a visual-search library for filmmakers, built around film and advertising frames. The Search view pairs a text query and image-search control with a dense grid of stills; Featured and Projects provide separate browsing routes. Opening a result shows an individual frame in an overlay. During review, the “Eating Heartache” result opened as a live example.

When to open it

Use it when a motion or art-direction brief needs a specific kind of shot, palette or composition and you want to move from a loose visual description to concrete film references. It is a film and advertising reference, not a gallery of web interfaces; translate the framing and colour into your own UI context.

Most useful

  • The search field accepts a visual description, while image search offers another way to find related frames.
  • The result grid puts the imagery first, with minimal chrome between the query controls and the references.
  • Featured and Projects tabs split discovery from saved work without changing the main search layout.
  • Selecting a tile opens a larger single-frame view, so a result can be inspected before continuing through the grid.
  • The filter control and result-count slider sit alongside the query, keeping refinement close to the images.

Using it with agents

No public MCP, API, CLI, agent guide or llms.txt was found during review. The browser can still search the visible gallery and inspect an individual result; the site displayed a remaining search allowance without requiring sign-in. The terms prohibit scraping or storing a significant portion of the library.

Watch out for

  • The guest view showed 10 remaining searches; Pro is listed at $15.99 per member per month, with a 32% annual discount advertised at review.
  • Terms define the service as reference use for creating original work. Do not reuse library frames in a published advertisement, film or other finished media without permission.
  • Results are film and advertising imagery rather than interface examples. Use them to study image direction, framing and palette, then adapt those ideas to the interface.
  • The Terms of Use were marked effective September 19, 2026; recheck them before relying on usage limits or content rights.

Reusable ideas

  • Put natural-language and image search directly above a visual result grid so discovery starts with the references themselves.
  • Open a selected tile in a larger view without losing the surrounding search context.
  • Keep discovery, saved projects and filters available as compact controls around the main image field.
  • Let imagery remain the dominant visual layer and keep interface labels restrained, especially in research tools.
