What it is
Rebrand (rebrand.gallery) is a reference library for brand designers, founded in July 2023 by the French studio Sahkyo. It collects new visual identities rather than websites: each rebrand has its reveal video (an "Intro"), a bento board of the identity's pieces, and still "shots" of the system in use. Every entry is tagged by hand with studio, industry, year, style, feel and typeface.
When to open it
- When you're setting the visual identity that a site or product will sit on, not only the interface.
- When you want to see how one typeface or style (wordmark, geometric, 3D, gradient) holds up across a whole brand system.
- When you need applied examples such as packaging, signage, billboards, merch or brand guidelines.
Most useful
- About 210 rebrand pages and about 525 bentos in the sitemap; the pricing FAQ counts over 4,000 shots in the full library.
- Shot collections by use: billboard and out-of-home, packaging, brand guidelines, signage and wayfinding, brand motion, merch, editorial and stationery.
- Browse pages for about 120 typefaces, 49 styles, 27 feels and 20 industries.
- Rebrand pages credit the studio (or "In house"), give the year, link a case study where one exists, and offer asset downloads on Pro.
Using it with agents
No MCP, llms.txt or API, and the terms restrict automated collection and AI-made derivative work, so keep it manual. Study a rebrand, then write down what you learned in your own words (typeface roles, colour behaviour, logo lockups, motion rules) and give that to the agent as a style brief. Don't feed it the assets.
Watch out for
- It isn't a before-and-after comparison site: entries show the new identity, and the old one rarely appears.
- The site asks for a free account to keep browsing, and asset downloads, the full filter set and unlimited collections need Pro.
- Featured work pays: accepted submissions cost €99 for a permanent place and an X feature.
Reusable ideas
- Pairing a reveal video with a bento board and applied shots shows a brand as a system, not a logo.
- Tagging by "feel" (vibrant, confident, warm) alongside style and typeface matches how clients describe what they want.
- Filing applications by medium (packaging, signage, merch) makes it easy to check a system beyond the screen.
