What it is
GOATED UI is a free, curated gallery of live websites, app icons, interfaces and Open Graph images. Its own interface uses a dark card grid, a Web/OG Images switch and visible industry filters; individual records separate the gallery's screenshot and category labels from a link to the original site. A paid sponsor card can appear among editorial entries.
When to open it
- When you want a fast visual scan of current SaaS, AI, fintech or developer-tool sites and a direct route to the original.
- When you need social-preview references as well as website references; use the separate OG Images gallery.
- When comparing examples in one industry through category pages such as Developer Tools.
Most useful
- The homepage exposes industry filters and a card grid. At review, its first entries included Customer.io, Drift, Close CRM, Intercom and Linear.
- An individual Linear record includes a screenshot and category tags, a related developer-tools group, and a Visit Website link to linear.app. The gallery record and Linear's live product are separate references.
- The OG Images section offers a different reference type: social preview compositions rather than full page layouts.
Using it with agents
No MCP, API, CLI, llms.txt or agent guide was listed. Ask an agent to use the category pages to shortlist a few examples, open the original sites and compare specific decisions such as type scale, section order, imagery and responsive behavior. GOATED UI describes its gallery as inspiration; its terms also warn that featured designs and screenshots belong to their respective creators.
Watch out for
- The gallery screenshots and marks remain the property of their respective owners. Its terms permit browsing but state no licence for reusing those assets.
- Sponsored placements are labelled; separate them from the editorially curated grid when evaluating examples.
- A screenshot is a point-in-time preview. Follow Visit Website and recheck the live page before relying on it.
Reusable ideas
- Put website and social-card references in separate but adjacent collections, since their composition goals differ.
- Keep industry filters visible and repeat the category context on each detail page so browsing does not lose its thread.
- Place the original-site link beside the screenshot rather than requiring a visitor to search for the source.
