What it is ​

Auri is an AI keyboard and writing assistant for Apple devices. Its public site includes interactive previews of keyboard actions, visual chat, voice dictation and notes, making the product website useful as a compact AI-interface reference.

When to open it ​

Open the home page to study how writing assistance can be presented as familiar keyboard actions and how a text answer can become a visual, browsable response. This is a product demo, not an agent UI component library.

Most useful ​

  • The keyboard demo pairs language and layout choices with writing tools such as grammar correction, paraphrasing, translation and continued writing.
  • The Visual Chat example turns a weekend-trip prompt into destination cards, drive-time context and a comparison that helps the user choose.
  • Smart Notes shows a transcript transformed into cleaned-up text, meeting notes or a to-do list.
  • A separate Ask Auri example shows a proposed calendar action with a confirmation step before it is created.

Using it with agents ​

There is no published MCP, API, CLI, registry, llms.txt or skill for design use. Agents can inspect the public interactive demos in a browser. Keep product names and examples distinct from Aura at aura.build, the separate AI site builder.

Watch out for ​

Reusable ideas ​

  • Place writing actions beside the text field so the user can correct, translate or extend text without switching mental context.
  • Give an AI answer a structure suited to the question—cards and criteria for trip planning, for example—rather than returning every answer as a text block.
  • Show the proposed details of an external action and ask the user before creating it.
